Type /btw to open a side-chat overlay with the full main session as frozen context. Ask quick clarifying questions without bloating the main thread. Nothing the side chat says is appended to the main transcript or persisted to the session file, so your running context window stays lean.

Tools and confirmation

The side chat runs an isolated agent loop with the same tools, guards, and rendering as the main chat. In the default yolo mode, tool calls run without prompting. With --no-yolo, the side-chat transcript and tool preview remain visible above the confirmation dialog while zot waits for your decision.

Tool calls, results, code previews, and diffs stay inside the side chat. Press ctrl+o to expand or collapse long tool output, including while a confirmation dialog is open. Press esc to cancel an in-flight turn or close the side chat when idle.
